CENTURY DRIVES BELTED UNITS
Century Drive Systems, Inc. is a manufacturer of airboat belted and gear-to-gear reduction drive units (transmissions) and airboat component parts for the Airboat Industry. We have several models and ratios to choose from.
The CH-2 drive unit is our 4″ wide belt drive system. The CH-3 drive unit is a 5″ wide belted reduction unit, and it is our most popular product. The CH-4 drive unit has a 5″ wide, 14mm belt and is available in two higher ratios of reduction, 2.52:1 and 2.67:1.
Our CH-3 Longbelt airboat drive unit lowers your heavy engine and center of gravity by separating the engine crankshaft center and propeller shaft by 41.8 inches. Our CH-3 Counter Rotators can be used with any of the standard CH-3 or CH-3 Long belt drive units to create an awesome amount of thrust with the same power plant. We are also offering the Counter Rotating unit in the CH-4 with steeper ratios.
The Briggs and Kohler Mini Drive Units are for the one or two-passenger 10′ to 15′ ft light-weight boat systems. This lower-cost boat can open a vast market for the general airboaters and small industrial users.
We offer drive systems for up to 200 HP for the Chevy Echo-Tech 1.4, 1.6, 2.0, and 2.4 liter engines. These drives come in a 2:1 ratio. This makes an affordable airboat solution for the general public for a three-person boat.
